Full integration
with Exchange server...
Faxing manually is out of date. Research shows that a professional fax
server can save your organization substantial costs, whilst
improving your customer service and image. FAXmaker for Exchange
is an enterprise quality fax server that can deliver on this
promise. With more than 70,000 fax servers shipped since its
launch, FAXmaker is an industry leader when it comes to reliability,
robustness, ease of use & administration, and price.
FAXmaker for Exchange is a native connector for Microsoft Exchange server. This seamless integration allows users to send and receive faxes directly from Microsoft Outlook, making it easy to use and learn. FAXmaker for Exchange is easier to manage too - user administration can be done from the Exchange administrator. The result is increased efficiency and lower total cost of ownership.
Send and receive
faxes from Outlook
Faxes can be sent and received from within the Microsoft Outlook
client. To send a fax, users can either enter a message in
Microsoft Outlook or the Exchange client, or print from their word
processor to the FAXmaker printer, after which the Outlook New
message dialog pops up automatically. The user now selects the
recipient(s) of the fax from the Outlook Contacts list (address book).
After clicking on the 'Send' button, the fax is sent out and the user
will receive a transmission report in his or her inbox. How to

Supports Outlook
contacts
There is no need to keep a separate fax address book - just select the
recipient's "Business Fax" entry from the Outlook contacts list or
the Global Address Book. In this way you do not need to duplicate
address entries. Also, Because fax recipients appear in the e-mail
address book, users can interchange fax and e-mail addresses,
making it easy for the user to broadcast information to a number
of people, whether they have an email or a fax address.
Attach any Office
document
Users can attach any Office document to their message. This document
will then be rendered to fax format at the server and faxed out. A
document can also be faxed using the 'Send file' command, which is
available in all Microsoft Office applications and many others.
FAX annotation
Incoming faxes can also be edited. This gives users the possibility to
stamp their 'Approval' on faxed documents or add their own
comments. The edited faxes can then be returned, or routed to
another recipient.
FAX broadcasting
using Microsoft Office Mail merge
Using the mail merge facility of Microsoft Word/Office, you can send
personalized fax broadcasts to any amount of users. Because
Microsoft Office supports ODBC, the recipient list can be
retrieved from any data source, including Microsoft SQL server,
Microsoft Access and many more.

admin fax server!

administration of it. It integrates with Active Directory and

user database. User related settings can be applied to windows
users or groups directly.

Automated FAX
delivery / inbound fax routing

using one of four methods: CSID, DID/DTMF, OCR or Line routing.
CSID determines the recipient based on the FAX ID, DID/DTMF on the
basis of the dialed number (requires DID trunks or ISDN), and OCR
by searching for names and keywords in a fax. Line routing allows
faxes to be routed based on which line they were received on.
Faxes can also be manually routed, or assigned to a network
printer per installed fax port.
Auto print
Each fax that is received or sent with FAXmaker can be automatically
printed on an assigned network printer. FAXmaker can also print
out transmission reports and miniature print outs of each sent
fax.

FAXmaker can cost all your phone calls and apportion them to specific
users or departments. Companies can also make use of billing codes.
FAX archiving
Faxes can be archived for back-up and quick retrieval. With the
optional OCR module, users can also search for a fax by specifying
keywords.

FAXmaker 2000 can share a modem with another communications
application such as RAS. In addition, it supports 2D faxing
(faster fax transmission) as well as boasting wider modem support.

Digital sender

can be programmatically fax enabled. A sample for Microsoft Word
is included. FAXmaker also includes a text API which allows you to

with recipient information in a designated directory, which
FAXmaker automatically scans and faxes out.
