Email content checking/filtering

Rule-based configuration

Approve/Reject quarantined mail using the moderator client or your email client. You can approve/reject quarantined email in 2 ways: Using either the moderator client, or using an e-mail client. The second method allows you to use multiple administrators as well as public folders. This allows you to distribute the task of approving and rejecting mail to departmental supervisors.

Detects attachment extension hiding
Email attachments with scripts (for example *.vbs) can be disguised as *.txt files by using the CLSID of the extension instead of the actual file extension. Mail essentials detects this and quarantines script or executable files, even if they are disguised as *.txt files, for example.

Seamless integration with Exchange Server 2000 & 5.5
Mail essentials integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Exchange Server. It intercepts all inbound and outbound email.
